Lucid Dream TechniquesLucid dreaming occurs when you're conscious that you're dreaming and you can end up controlling themselves and the environment. The hard part is figuring out you're dreaming, in the moment. We often don't do this.The key to figuring it out is to have a reality check. You have to pick up on those weird scenarios. You may be looking at a sign with words on it, but you just can't read it. Or you're trying to run away, but you don't seem to get anywhere. Or you could be driving and no matter how hard you push the break the vehicle won't stop. These are all weird things happening. You have to ask yourself why. Why can't I read that? Why can't I run fast? Another effective method is asking yourself the question "am I dreaming" all the time. That means asking yourself when you're obviously awake. If you keep this up, you'll happen to be in the middle of a dream and figure out you're dreaming. One of the most talked about things people want to do with their lucid dreams is flying. They just want to fly. I don't know why that is the most attractive trait, but it is. Solve Math Problems I remember I had a test at school and I just couldn't figure out how to do it. I had the test finished and I was just staring at this problem trying to figure out, but it never came. When I got home, I didn't bother looking it up, but that night I dreamed about it. At about 2am, I woke up and I knew exactly how to do it. I had the test on my mind and I just happened to solve it while I was sleeping. Increase Memory Typically, the last things you think about before bed will be in your dreams. If you're studying for a test or have any little things on your mind, you'll be thinking about it all night typically. By morning, they'll be engrained in your mind. |
