All you need to know is that a simple chin strap headband is all you need to stop snoring. It really works quite simply. The way it is designed is to hold your jaw up in a close position. That might not mean much, but when your jaw is open it puts pressure on your throat and constricts. The more constriction on the throat, the more likely you'll end up with the vibrations that lead to snoring. When the jaw is up, the airways open and you don't create the snoring sounds.

As you can see this is quite a simple solution to snoring problems. The best part is that it requires an investment of 5 seconds of your time to put it on before you go to bed. It also trains you to sleep with your jaw closed, so in the future you won't need to use the chin strap.
